Jan Wolszczak

Jan Wolszczak has extensive experience in the field of data engineering and BI development. Jan started their career at Cascader Park / Avana in 2013, where they served as Head of Instructors Staff and Instructor until 2014. Jan then worked as a Freelance Editor at Pearson IOKI Sp. z o.o. from 2013 to 2018, concurrently interning as a Junior Data Analyst in 2015. Wolszczak joined Sente Systemy Informatyczne in 2016 as a T-SQL, PL/SQL, and C# Developer until 2018.

In 2018, they joined BAE Systems Applied Intelligence as a Software Engineer for a period of six months. From 2019 to 2020, Wolszczak worked at Sii Poland, first as a Software Engineer/BI Developer for Erste Group Bank AG and then as a Data Engineer/BI Developer for LPP SA. Jan continued their data engineering career at Roche in 2021 as a Data Engineer/BI Backend Developer until January 2022.

Most recently, Wolszczak worked at DTiQ as a Data Engineer/ETL Developer starting from January 2022. Currently, they are employed at Verisure as a Data Engineer/BI Developer from May 2023.

Jan Wolszczak holds a Master's degree in Applications of Internet of Things from both the Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu and the Poznan University of Economics And Business. Jan completed this degree from 2016 to 2018.

Prior to their Master's degree, Jan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Informatics and Econometrics from the Poznan University of Economics And Business. Jan pursued this degree from 2013 to 2016.

In terms of certifications, Jan has several accomplishments. In October 2020, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) through Microsoft. In May 2019, they obtained the Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate certification from Oracle. Additionally, in November 2020, Jan became a Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (DA-100) [MS Power BI] again with Microsoft.

Moreover, Jan has earned further certifications. In January 2017, they obtained the EU Scholarship - Android Development for Beginners from Udacity and completed The Digital Workshop certification offered by Google during the same month.
