Ben Kelly

Ben Kelly is the current General Counsel at DTN. Ben previously held the same position at MeteoGroup from January 2017 to December 2019.

At MeteoGroup, Kelly was responsible for the global legal function of the company, advising the board of directors and senior management on all corporate and legal matters. Ben also drafted and negotiated a wide range of sales and supply contracts, R&D, reseller and strategic partnership agreements. In addition, Kelly managed and coordinated all M&A activity for the company.

Kelly has also been responsible for carrying out company secretarial matters and other filing requirements for MeteoGroup. Ben has also maintained the group's risk register, delegated authorities schedule and related internal policies. Lastly, they have promoted corporate governance / compliance policies and initiatives within the group.

During their time at MeteoGroup, Kelly also engaged and managed external advisors both in the UK and in various overseas jurisdictions on a variety of matters including in relation to litigation, property, employment and general commercial matters.

Ben Kelly studied Law at the University of Southampton and completed their A-Levels in Business Studies, English and Theirtory at Verulam Boys School. Ben is currently a qualified lawyer and works in the legal field.

Their manager is Marc Chesover, President & CEO. They are on a team with Lars Ewe - CTO, Tom Dilworth - Chief Financial Officer, and Nigel Heaney - Corporate Operations.
