Sagara Ranga De Alwis Yapa

Sagara Ranga De Alwis Yapa has extensive work experience in various logistics and commercial roles. From 2021 to the present, Sagara worked at DTRT Apparel, initially as the Deputy General Manager of Logistics & Commercial and then moving on to become the General Manager - Commercial & Logistics. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2021, Sagara served as the Logistic Manager at Hela Clothing. From 2011 to 2016, Sagara worked as the Logistic Manager at New Wide Enterprise CO., LTD. Before that, from 2002 to 2011, Sagara held the position of Export Manager at Presitex Enterprises (Pty) Ltd (CGM Group) in Lesotho, where Sagara displayed skills in handling shipping lines and implementing filing and invoicing procedures. Sagara's career in the industry began in 1998 as a Shipping Clerk at Gloria Vanderbilt (Charaka apparel/ Orit apparel/ Laggala apparel), where Sagara gained experience in preparing and clearing shipping documents.

Sagara Ranga De Alwis Yapa attended St. Benedict's College, Colombo-13 from 1995 to 1997, where they completed their Advanced Level studies with a focus on Bio Science. In 2012, they enrolled in Moi University and pursued a Bachelor of Business Management degree, specializing in Purchasing and Supplies. Their undergraduate studies lasted until 2015. Sagara then decided to further their education, and from 2020 to 2021, they attended the University of Wolverhampton, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, with a concentration in Business Administration and Management.
