Harshvardhan Gupta

Harshvardhan Gupta is a researcher at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) since May 2023, focusing on thin film solar cells with a particular emphasis on the 1D structured Sb2(S,Se)3 absorber. Prior to this role, Harshvardhan was a Master Thesis Student at imec from September 2022 to March 2023, where the development of an n-type buffer layer Zn(O,S) and window layer for low band gap CIS solar cells was undertaken, alongside the optimization of the Zn(O,S) deposition process. Additional experience includes positions as a Student Assistant at SPIO Systems, Project Associate I and Project Assistant at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, and internships at Siemens and Sunborne Energy Technologies. Harshvardhan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Thin Film Solar Cells from DTU, expected to be completed in 2026, a Master's degree in Sustainable Energy with a focus on Solar Energy from DTU, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology.
