At du, they currently hold the position of Senior Director Business Value Development, where they identify and analyzes potential business opportunities arising from emerging technology trends. Amr assesses the scalability of proposed initiatives to ensure future growth and demand.

Prior to this, Amr worked as the Senior Director IT & Technology Integrated Strategy, where they articulated the strategic integrated roadmap to transform du as an innovative digital ecosystem leader in the UAE. Amr formulated the future spend on Technology & IT Future Roadmap for the next five years.

Amr also served as the Senior Director Technology Strategy and Architecture, leading the development of the Technology network evolution strategy and roadmap aligned with the corporate strategy vision. Amr collaborated with stakeholders to establish architectural principles, standards, and guidelines.

Before joining du, Amr worked at Mobily as the Voice Core & IN Planning Manager, where they designed and dimensioned planning for the Mobily Core and Prepaid IN Network. Amr prepared business cases and feasibilities for new core-switching orders, optimizing network resources and minimizing costs.

At Vodafone, they held the role of Senior Engineer Network Operation, providing technical support for MSC engineers and overseeing new projects such as IMS, SIGTRAN, and 3G. Amr also supervised hardware and software upgrades and node acceptances.
