Hessa al Suwaidi

Hessa Al Suwaidi has extensive work experience in various roles within the telecommunications industry. Hessa is currently the Head of Delivery & Technical Enablement at du since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Planning & Delivery at du, where they also took on the role of Transformation Lead from January 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining du, Hessa worked at Emirates, where they held several leadership positions. As the Manager - Portfolio Delivery/Delivery Head of Emirates Operations, they oversaw multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and managed a portfolio of IT solutions. Hessa also served as a Transformation Lead, partnering with leaders to improve business engagement and optimize supplier management processes. Hessa led a team of solutions delivery managers and successfully delivered IT solutions across various departments. Hessa also played a key role in notable projects, such as the flydubai migration to DXB Terminal 3 and the Emirates Check-in Solution integration with the flydubai Departure Control System. Hessa's expertise also extends to program management, solutions delivery, and project control.

Hessa Al Suwaidi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Information Technology from the Higher Colleges of Technology in 2006. Hessa also earned a Higher Diploma with Distinction in Business Information Technology from the same institution, with a GPA of 3.76. In addition to their formal education, Hessa has obtained certifications in the Scaled Agile Framework Enterprise (SAFe 4.0) from Scaled Agile, Inc., and has graduated from the Emirates Rolls-Royce Leadership Program.
