Miguel Marques Gomes

Miguel Marques Gomes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Miguel is currently the SVP and Head of BSS, Channels & ESS Architecture at du since the start of 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Liberty Global as the Director of IT Strategy and Architecture, where they led the Strategy & Architecture team and provided architectural choices and vendor selection technical argumentation for the central IT organization. Miguel also held the role of Director of B2B Architecture and Solution Design at Liberty Global, where they created innovative B2B solutions and led a team of architects and solution designers.

Before joining Liberty Global, Miguel worked at KPN as an Enterprise Architect, primarily focused on the Shared Services area. Miguel was responsible for various enterprise projects, including ERP Cloud, Revenue Assurance, Collections, and Fraud Management. Additionally, they briefly worked as the Director of Capital Management at Cable & Wireless Communications.

Prior to that, Miguel held multiple roles at Liberty Global, including Director of Capital Management, Director of Technology Capex Consulting Unit, Director of Business Architecture, Manager of Business Architecture, Manager of Business Analysis, and Business Analyst. In these positions, they worked on enterprise and solution architecture, business processes management, and analysis.

Miguel started their career at Accenture as a CRM Consultant and also worked as an R&D researcher at INESC Porto.
