Mohamed Omar, CMA, has extensive work experience in various finance roles. Mohamed began their career in 2000 at Raya Holding as a Supply Chain & logistics Specialist before transitioning to the role of Financial Accountant. In 2005, they joined Vodafone as a Senior Financial Accountant and subsequently took on positions such as Financial Accounting Business Partner, Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner, and Finance Manager.

In 2017, Omar co-founded TPS - Tipping Point Solutions For Finance Services. Following this, they worked at Virgin Mobile UAE as a Senior Finance Manager and later joined du as a Senior Finance Manager in digital, commercial & e-payment. Mohamed then progressed to the position of Senior Manager Finance Operations before assuming their current role as Finance Director at du in March 2022.

Mohamed Omar, CMA, obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting from Cairo University in the years 1995-1999. Mohamed later attended the Institute of Management Accounting from 2012 to 2015, focusing on Managerial Accounting. Additionally, they received various certifications, including CMA (Certified Management Accounting) from the Institute of Management Accountants in 2015, and completed programs such as the Harvard Management Essentials Program, The 5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity, and Time Management Fundamentals in 2021.
