Umar Farooq

Umar Farooq is an experienced investment and portfolio management professional with a robust background spanning over 15 years. Currently serving as Executive Director at Dubai Holding since April 2018, Umar has progressed through various roles in investments and portfolio management within the company. Prior to this, experience includes managerial positions at Meraas and Emaar, and a financial/development analyst role at Arabtec Holding PJSC. Earlier career highlights include serving as a financial planning and analysis manager at Memon Development and a bank officer at ABN Amro Bank Pakistan Limited. Umar holds an MBA from the University of Bradford and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
