Razan Al Marzouqi serves as the Student Support and Career Development Manager at the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation since October 2018, overseeing student services, career services and outreach, and alumni departments. Previously, Razan worked as the Student Recruitment Manager at the Dubai Film and TV Commission, where key achievements included launching the first online content festival in the region, VIDXB, and facilitating participation from various industry professionals. Additional experience includes roles as a Media Executive at TECOM Group Dubai, where management of sound stages and filming coordination was prominent, as well as an internship at United Talent Agency. Razan's early career involved media roles at Daily Trojan, enhancing multimedia presence, and contributing to research at the University of Southern California focused on diversity. Razan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Southern California, completed in 2015.

In collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and The New School’s Parsons School of Design, Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI) is a private, non-profit university, located at Dubai Design District (d3), accredited by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. With its first intake in 2018, DIDI is focused on nurturing, mentoring and creating the next generation of designers. The curriculum is designed to empower students to map out their own four-year educational journey, culminating in the region’s first Integrated Bachelor of Design degree, with a choice of concentration in the areas of Product Design, Multimedia Design, Fashion Design and Strategic Design Management.
