Dharmesh Kalain

Dharmesh Kalain has a strong background in data management and business intelligence. Dharmesh currently holds the role of Head of Data Quality Management and Data Governance at Dubai Islamic Bank, where they implement policies and processes to improve data reliability and integrity. Previously, they worked at Standard Bank Group, where they served as the Executive Head of Business Intelligence, Insights, and Data Management for the Wealth Insurance sector. Dharmesh also held the position of Head of Data Quality Management, where they developed data quality processing capabilities and automated data profiling. Prior to that, Dharmesh worked as a Senior Manager in MIS and Business Intelligence at Standard Bank of South Africa, where they automated reporting mechanisms and developed insights databases. Dharmesh started their career as a Senior Business Analyst at Nedbank. Overall, Dharmesh has demonstrated expertise in data management, analytics, and strategic decision-making throughout their career.

Dharmesh Kalain has a diverse education history in the field of business administration and management. In 2007, they obtained a Certificate in Principles of Business and Management from the University of the Witwatersrand. Dharmesh further pursued their education at the same university, specializing in the Principles of Business Management - NMP57.

In 2015, Dharmesh attended Harvard Business School for Management Mentor Certification through Harvard Publishing. Dharmesh then pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2016, followed by a Master of Business Administration degree in the same field in 2017. In the same year, they also completed an Executive Management Programme at the University of La Verne.

Additionally, Dharmesh has obtained various certifications and training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include certifications from institutions such as MIT Sloan School of Management, IBM, QlikView, SAS, Microsoft, and IBM Cognos, covering a range of topics such as digital leadership, data management, business analytics, and SQL reporting services.
