Mahmood Rafiq

Mahmood Rafiq is an established banking professional with extensive experience in transaction banking, corporate finance, and treasury management. Currently serving as the Regional Head of Transaction Banking for Dubai Islamic Bank, Mahmood oversees operations in the North and Central Regions, focusing on collections, payments, and employee banking for diverse corporate, commercial, and SME clients. Mahmood's career includes roles as Assistant Manager and Project Manager at Telenor Pakistan, where responsibilities encompassed structuring financing facilities and establishing treasury operations for Telenor Myanmar. Previous positions include Senior Relationship Manager at National Bank of Pakistan and Team Leader in Cash Management at Habib Bank Limited, alongside early experience in trade services and treasury roles. Mahmood holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.
