Ismail Mohamed Sidiya

Ismail Mohamed Sidiya has over two decades of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Ismail started their career as a Lead Developer at RenderGraphics, where they were responsible for designing and implementing multimedia CD-ROM titles and interactive solutions. From there, they worked as a Computer Officer at City University of Hong Kong, where they designed and implemented web and CD-ROM-based teaching applications.

In 2000, Ismail joined DotMedia Studios as a Software Architect and Senior Technical Officer. Ismail developed a large online matchmaking and community site, including a matchmaking database, internal email system, and Content Management System with multilingual support.

Moving on to Meta4 Group Ltd in 2003, Ismail served as a System Architect and Lead Developer. Ismail played a pivotal role in the technical design and development of the co-branding architecture, which led to the creation of Meta4 Networks operating social internet services in multiple languages.

In 2005, Ismail joined STAR Group Ltd as a Senior Software Architect. Ismail successfully executed and deployed a Digital Asset Management solution based on Alfresco ECM and FlipFactory video transcoding engine. Ismail also implemented and deployed two Document Management System solutions based on Alfresco, integrating them with Active Directory and MS Office.

In 2009, Ismail became a Systems Engineer at Arab Media Group / Dubai Media Inc, where they managed the relaunch of websites and worked on various projects.

Currently, Ismail is working at Dubai Media Incorporated as the Head of Online Support. In this role, they plan and executes web and mobile development and marketing campaigns. Ismail handles system analysis, architecture, software design and development, and system implementation and deployment. Additionally, Ismail is responsible for enhancing traffic acquisition through web analysis, search engine optimization, and social media reach.

Ismail Mohamed Sidiya's education history is as follows. Ismail started their educational journey in 1985 at Lycée Nationale, where they pursued the Baccalauréat degree in Série C - Mathématiques. After completing this degree in 1987, they furthered their studies at Beijing Language Institute from 1987 to 1988 and received a Certificate in Chinese Language. Following this, Ismail attended Tsinghua University in 1988 as a Freshman, studying Computer Science for a year. Finally, from 1989 to 1993, they attended Sun Yat-sen University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
