Nihad Elkhatim

Nihad Elkhatim has a diverse work experience spanning various media and communication roles. Starting with Dubai Immigration Team as a volunteer in 2005, they then worked as a journalist under training for Kul Al Usra Magazine from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Gulf Research Center as an editor and later moved to Dubai Media Incorporated / Emarat Alyoum Newspaper as an online editor from 2010 to 2015. From 2015 to the present, they have been associated with Dubai Media Incorporated/Radio & TV sector, initially as a senior digital content producer and later as the team leader of the moderation disk in the Social Media Department. In 2019, they worked in the Digital Media Department, DMI, where they were in charge of a Social Media Community Management Pilot Project until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of senior executive strategic planning at Dubai Media Incorporated since 2023.

Nihad Elkhatim completed a Diplomat program in Kaizen Knowledge Management Benchmarking at the Kaizen Training Centre in 2016. In 2013, they obtained another Diplomat degree in Low Studies for Journalists from the Dubai Judicial Institute. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, Nihad pursued a Master's Degree in Corporate Communication at Universiti Putra Malaysia. Their undergraduate education was completed from 2001 to 2005 at the College of Communication - University of Sharjah, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication with a focus on Journalism.

In addition to their formal education, Nihad Elkhatim has several certifications. In September 2021, they completed Sky News Arabia's practical training program for Podcast Creation. In October 2020, Nihad obtained certifications in "Fundamentals of Digital Marketing" from Google and "Social Media Marketing" from the eMarketing Institute. They also successfully completed a course on "How to achieve excellence" from the Dubai government excellence program in November 2018. Furthermore, Nihad obtained a certification in "Exploring English: Shakespeare" from the British Council in February 2017.
