Atiq ur Rehman has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and project management related to water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Atiq started their career in 2008 at National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) as a Design Engineer, where they were responsible for planning and designing water supply, sewerage, and storm drainage systems. Atiq then moved on to Saudi Consulting Services - SAUD CONSULT in 2013 as a Project Engineer, where they led a team in the detailed design of water supply and sewerage systems. In 2014, they joined Parsons as a Civil Design Engineer, where they contributed to the planning and strategy formulation of utilities design projects. In 2015, they joined Stantec as a Senior Design Engineer, focusing on managing strategic projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. Currently, they are working at Dubai Municipality as a Principal Engineer, where they manage strategic projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater systems Master Plans and assists the government in the development of regulations and design standards and specifications.
Atiq ur Rehman holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Atiq completed this degree from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Atiq ur Rehman has obtained certifications in PACE (Plan, Act, Element, Check, Excel) from the IACET Curriculum in 2014, ISO 14001 Overview and Implementation Strategy from MEA in 2014, and Art of Management from the Swiss E-learning Institute in 2011.
