Dervilia Roche is a seasoned historian and educator with extensive experience in heritage and cultural programming. Currently serving as the Historian-in-Residence for Children at Dublin City Council Culture Company since September 2020, Dervilia engages with 9-12 year-olds to explore local and social history, collaborating with families, schools, and community groups. Prior roles include Education Content Creator at SchooVR, where Dervilia developed educational resources, and Education Coordinator at Dublin Castle, leading various programs for exhibitions and heritage events. With experience as a guide at significant heritage sites such as Dublin Castle and the Battle of the Boyne Visitor Centre, Dervilia possesses a strong background in public engagement and educational content. Dervilia holds an MSc in Tourism Management from Technological University Dublin and a BA in History of Art and Architecture and Music from Trinity College Dublin.
