Aisha Bolaji is an accomplished film professional currently serving as a Film Development Coordinator at Motherland since June 2023. Aisha holds experience as a Film Programmer for the Dublin International Film Festival for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, and has contributed as a Film Screener and Co-Founder of The GALPAL Collective, which focuses on supporting works by young queer individuals, women, and people of colour. Aisha's previous roles include IFI DocFest Shorts Programmer at the Irish Film Institute, Programme Assistant at Catalyst International Film Festival, and Curatorial Assistant at Chroma International Film Festival, where Aisha helped promote diverse voices in the film industry. Additionally, Aisha was the Head of Jury at Their International Film Festival and served as Assistant Team Leader at Compass Group prior to entering the film sector. Aisha obtained a BA in Film and Television Production, Directing and Producing from Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, completing studies in 2023 after secondary education at Palmerstown Community School.
