Liam Kavanagh

Liam Kavanagh is an experienced marine professional currently serving as a Marine Pilot at Dublin Port Company since September 2020, after a development period as a Trainee Marine Pilot. Prior to this role, Liam worked as a Nautical Science Lecturer at the National Maritime College of Ireland and has extensive experience as a Master on various vessels, including positions with Bibby Marine Services Limited and Fletcher, managing offshore operations and new build projects. Additional experience includes serving as DPO on a Dive Support Vessel and in various capacities with Vector Offshore Limited, Stena Line, and the Commissioners of Irish Lights. Liam holds a degree in Master Mariner and BSc in Nautical Science from the National Maritime College of Ireland.
