Rich Medina is an accomplished DJ Instructor at Dub Spot Music School since 2011, and also serves as a columnist for Complex Online Magazine, where "On The Road With Rich Medina" shares personal travel and life experiences. A resident DJ at Le Poisson Rouge, Medina hosts "PROPS," an enduring event that evolved from the popular Li'l Ricky's Rib Shack parties. The founder of Ricardo Grande Music, Medina's brand encompasses various creative fields including music and journalism. In addition to being Bardot Miami's resident DJ on the first Friday of each month, Medina is an Official DJ for the Rock Steady Crew and co-founder of JUMP N FUNK, a celebrated Afrobeat party. With prior experience as a DJ for the Hip-Hop Theater Festival and writer for Fader Magazine, Medina co-owned Footwork Illadelph, the first U.S. boutique with a Nike contract. Medina holds a BS in Marketing, Management, and Black Studies from Cornell University.
