Prior to this, they worked at Manulife Bank of Canada in various roles including Manager of Campaigns, Promotions, and Cross Sell, Product Manager of Credit Card, and Product Manager of Credit Card Acquisition. Richard also served as the Product Manager of Retail Banking and the Product Manager of Loans, Lines, Credit Card, and Creditor Insurance at Manulife Bank. In addition, Richard worked at CIBC as the Director of Consumer Deposits and Group Product Manager of Creditor Insurance Products. Richard started their career as an IT Consultant at iGate Mastech. Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated their expertise in product management, campaign strategies, stakeholder management, process improvement, and business development.
Richard Yong, MBA PMP, has a strong educational background in information technology and pharmacology. Richard holds an MBA in Information Technology from McMaster University and a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto. Additionally, Richard has obtained certifications in Agile Project Management from UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies in July 2023 and in Visual Storytelling in PowerPoint from LinkedIn in February 2022.
