Dominik Kapusta

Dominik Kapusta has extensive experience working in various roles within the software engineering and development field.

Their most recent position was as a Senior Software Engineer at DuckDuckGo, a search engine company, which they started in 2022.

Before that, they worked at GFT Group as an iOS Architect from September 2021 to March 2022.

From June 2020 to December 2021, Dominik was a Solutions Architect at eye.one, where they played a crucial role in establishing software development practices and ensuring infrastructure availability and resilience.

Prior to that, they worked as a Mobile DevOps at UpMenu from October 2019 to September 2021, streamlining the release process for a food ordering service provider.

From January 2019 to September 2021, they worked at Donkey Republic, a micro-mobility service provider, as a Senior iOS Developer and Scrum Master.

Dominik also has experience as a Lead Embedded Software Engineer at LORIOT, where they managed the development of embedded components.

Dominik Kapusta obtained their MSc in Electronic Engineering, with a focus on IC Design, from Lodz University of Technology in 2008. Dominik also pursued an MSc project in Electronic Engineering and IC Design at Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya in 2007 to 2008.

In addition to their educational background, Dominik Kapusta has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Dominik became a Nokia Certified Qt Specialist in Core C++ for Qt developers and Widget UI with Qt in October 2010. In December 2020, they achieved the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Moreover, they obtained the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate certification in May 2021. Furthermore, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance in June 2010.
