Wyatt Starosta

Wyatt Starosta has had an extensive career in user experience research and design. Wyatt recently worked at DuckDuckGo as the Director of User Insights starting from July 2023. Prior to that role, they worked as a UX and Design Research Consultant & Advisor at their own company from May 2022 to August 2023. Wyatt also served as the Director of User Experience Research at Instacart from February 2021 to May 2022. Before that, they were a Principal of User Experience Research at PayPal from October 2018 to February 2021, where they played a crucial role in implementing design thinking tools and establishing UX metrics. Wyatt has also held leadership positions at Chase, OpenTable, and Cooper, as well as consulting roles at Adaptive Path and Portigal Consulting.

Wyatt Starosta has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Product Design at Savannah College of Art and Design. In addition to their formal education, Wyatt has obtained various certifications, including Design Research Techniques and Facilitating Design Thinking from Cooper, received in December 2019 and September 2019 respectively. Wyatt also holds a RIVA Master Moderator Certification, obtained in April 2008.
