Lauren Rae

Lauren Rae is an experienced conservation biologist currently serving as the National Conservation Biologist at Ducks Unlimited Canada since September 2016. Prior to this role, Lauren worked as an Environmental Project Manager at Vertex Resource Group Ltd. from January 2015 to September 2016 and as an Environmental Project Coordinator at Navus Environmental Inc. from November 2012 to January 2015. Earlier experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Memorial University of Newfoundland from September 2009 to May 2012, a Wildlife Technician with the Canadian Wildlife Service in the summer of 2009, and a Research Assistant at the University of Guelph in the summer of 2008, supported by an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award. Lauren holds a Master of Science in Cognitive and Behavioural Ecology from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from the University of Guelph.
