Chonta Salts has over 25 years of experience in the field of human resources. Chonta is currently the Director of OD & Compliance at Ducommun Incorporated, a global manufacturing and engineering services provider. In their previous roles at the company, they served as a Corporate HR Business Partner and a Human Resources Business Partner. Prior to joining Ducommun, Chonta worked as a Human Resources Manager at Nilfisk-Advance, a global manufacturer of industrial/commercial cleaning equipment, and at Magnetics, Inc., a manufacturer of electronic components. Chonta'sresponsibilities in these roles included HR generalist functions. Chonta Salts holds certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Employee Cost Containment Professional (ECCP).

Chonta Salts, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, ECCP, holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Missouri State University, which was earned from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Central Arkansas from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their academic background, Chonta has obtained various certifications, including the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in May 2015, a Six Sigma Green Belt from Ducommun Incorporated in 2015, and an Executive Coaching Certified Professional from the Institute of Organization Development in 2021.
