Laurel Porter

Laurel Porter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical editing and publishing in the environmental and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Editor at Dudek since January 2014, Laurel previously held the role of Technical Editor/Writer/Information Design Consultant at BlackPear Technologies, contributing to complex environmental reports and projects. Earlier roles include Editorial Assistant at Dudek, Owner of Laguna Translations, and ESL Teacher at EuroCentres GmbH in Germany, among others. Laurel holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from UC Irvine and has a proven track record in managing quality control, developing technical materials, and collaborating with diverse teams.
