Senior Ecologist/project Director at Dudek

Michael Henry has over 20 years of work experience in the environmental field. Michael currently works at Dudek as a Senior Ecologist/Project Director, leading the habitat conservation planning practice in northern California. Prior to Dudek, Michael worked at AMEC Environment & Infrastructure as a Senior Environmental Scientist/Biologist, where they managed the preparation of environmental impact analyses. Before that, they worked at NOAA as a Resource Protection and Policy Specialist, conducting analysis for NEPA documents and responding to public comments on new Sanctuary Management Plans. Michael also coordinated with State and other Federal agencies regarding proposed regulations. Michael began their career as a Researcher at UC Santa Barbara and worked there for six years.

Michael Henry completed their education at UC Santa Barbara. Michael first earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aquatic Biology, completing this program from 1999 to 2001. Michael continued their studies at UC Santa Barbara and obtained a PhD in Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology from 2001 to 2008. Additionally, they pursued further education by completing a Graduate Certificate in Management Practice from 2004 to 2006.
