Sindre Mikal Oterhals

Sindre Mikal Oterhals has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Sindre Mikal is currently working at Duett AS, where they started as the Head of Human Resources in August 2021 and later became the Chief Human Resources Officer in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Human Resources at Røros kommune from January 2017 to August 2021.

Sindre has also held leadership positions in several organizations. Sindre Mikal was the Chairman of the Board at FAGOPPLÆRING I FJELLREGIONEN since June 2020 and the Chairman of the Board at Fjell-Ljom from October 2012 to May 2014. Sindre Mikal also served as a Member of the Board at Infonett Røros AS from June 2016 to June 2018.

In addition, Sindre has experience as a Business Advisor and Consultant. Sindre Mikal worked as a Business Advisor at Rørosregionen Næringshage AS from September 2013 to June 2016, where they focused on project management, providing guidance to entrepreneurs, and promoting research in the business sector. Sindre Mikal also worked as a Consultant at NAV from July 2016 to January 2017 and as a Business Advisor at Kommuniké AS from August 2009 to April 2013.

Earlier in their career, Sindre held the role of Team Leader Consultant Manager at Academic Work from March 2008 to August 2009, where they specialized in recruitment and team leadership. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a focus on achieving positive outcomes for the organizations they have worked with.

Sindre Mikal Oterhals has a diverse education history. In 2002 to 2008, they attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) where they obtained a Master's degree in Social Psychology. During this time, they focused on understanding human behavior in a social context. In 2015, they returned to NTNU to study "How organizations work" and "Economy and value creation" without obtaining a specific degree. Alongside their studies, they obtained certifications such as the BOMAT aptitude test in 2015 and the NEO PI-3 personality test in 2010 from Hogrefe Psykologiförlaget. Additionally, in 2014, they studied "Board competence I" at BI Norwegian Business School. In 2019 to 2020, Sindre Mikal Oterhals attended the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, focusing on "Management of processes I."
