Anna Szonyi

Anna Szonyi has a strong background in engineering management and software development. Anna is currently working as a Senior Engineering Manager at Duffel since November 2020. Prior to that, Anna worked at Improbable as an Engineering Manager from March 2019 to November 2020. Anna also has experience at Cloudera as an Engineering Manager from June 2017 to March 2019 and as a Staff Engineer & Technical Lead from August 2016 to June 2017. Anna was also associated with The Apache Software Foundation as an Apache Sqoop Committer starting from March 2017. Earlier in their career, Anna worked at Morgan Stanley, where they held various roles including Vice President, Senior Engineering Manager, Head of women in IT Budapest, and engineering manager of a risk management team. Anna also worked as a Software Developer at Morgan Stanley from August 2010 to January 2013.

Anna Szonyi completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from Eötvös Loránd University from 2003 to 2009. Anna also pursued another Master's degree in Computer Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2008 to 2009.
