Javier Gallego

Javier Gallego has held several roles in their work experience. Javier currently serves as a Board Advisor for PayCargo since September 2019 and as an External Advisor / Head Agency Operations for Duffel since July 2019. Previously, they worked as an Independent Consultant and held the position of Board Member/Advisor since April 2015. Prior to that, Javier had a long and successful career at the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Javier served as the Global Managing Director Distribution, Settlement Services and Operations from July 2010 to April 2015, where they managed the consolidation of operations in five regional centers, leading to significant cost savings and an increase in customer perception. Before that, they held the position of Regional Managing Director IATA Settlement Services Operations from November 2005 to July 2010, overseeing IATA's European Operations for Settlement and Distribution Services. Javier joined IATA in 1991 and held various roles including Area Director and Country CFO.

Javier Gallego received a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Senior Management from IE Business School in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de Valladolid. The exact duration of their studies at Universidad de Valladolid is unknown.
