In 2006, they joined HAI as an Art Team Member, showcasing their talent in sales and presentations at trade shows. In 2014, they became a Payroll Assistant at Brian F. Smith and Associates, Inc., before transitioning to Duffy Kruspodin, LLP. At Duffy Kruspodin, they held various roles, including Assistant Office Manager, Human Resources Generalist, Human Resources Manager, and currently serves as the Director of People Operations. Throughout their tenure, they have demonstrated expertise in maintaining compliance with employment laws, handling employee relations, and proposing improvements to enhance organizational efficiency.
Allison Smith, PHR, obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Human Development with an emphasis in Adult Development from California State University-East Bay between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General from San Diego City College from 2004 to 2005. In addition, they hold the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification, which they obtained from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2017.
