Siddeeq Ameen

Siddeeq Ameen is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in higher education and research administration. Since 2018, Siddeeq Ameen has served as Director of the Research Center and Professor, Quality Assurance Advisor at Duhok Polytechnic University. Additionally, since September 2015, Siddeeq Ameen has held the position of Dean at Applied Science University Bahrain while also serving as a Professor of Data Communication at the University of Mosul since August 2012, where Siddeeq Ameen is also Head of Postgraduate Studies and Research. Prior roles include Dean of the College of Engineering at Gulf University, Bahrain from February 2006 to September 2011 and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Computer Engineering at the University of Technology from September 2004 to February 2006. Siddeeq Ameen earned a PhD and MSc in Data Communication from Loughborough University from 1985 to 1990.

Duhok Polytechnic University locates in Duhok city -Kurdistan region of Iraq. Duhok (also spelled Dohok, Dehok or Dahok, Kurdish: دهۆک, Duhok, Syriac: ܢܘܗܕܪܐ Nuhadra, Arabic: دهوك) is the capital of Duhok Governorate in Iraq, with a population reaching to 900,000 inhabitants, mostly consisting of Kurds, with a significant Assyrian population. The city is encircled by mountains along the Tigris river. Duhok has a growing tourist industry, its population having grown rapidly since the 1990s as the rural population moved to the cities. The University of Dohuk -founded in 1992, besides to Duhok Polytechnic University -founded in 2013, are renowned center for teaching and research in Dohuk.
