Adam Long

Adam Long is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the natural gas industry. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Operations Officer of Natural Gas at Duke Energy Corporation since January 2017, Adam has held multiple leadership roles, including Vice President of Pipeline Operations and General Manager of Pipeline Operations. Prior experience includes Director of System Planning and Gas Control at Piedmont Natural Gas, where responsibilities included managing the System Planning Group. Additional roles spanned from serving as Sr. Engineering Project Manager at PNG to managing Compressor Stations and working as a Senior Engineer at Colonial Pipeline. Adam holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, earned between 1991 and 1996.
