Ben Williamson

Ben Williamson currently serves as the Principal Communications Manager at Duke Energy Corporation, a position held since November 2021. Previously, Ben was the Director of Communications for the American Red Cross South Carolina Region from July 2019 to October 2021, overseeing communication and marketing efforts and serving as a spokesperson for critical public relations issues. With extensive experience in journalism, Ben worked as an Anchor/Reporter at WBTV from July 2016 to July 2019 and as a Multimedia Journalist at WTOC-TV prior to that. Ben holds two degrees from the University of Georgia: an ABJ in Digital Broadcast Journalism and a BA in Communications Studies, both obtained in 2012.
