Damon Bryson

Damon Bryson is a seasoned nuclear engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Lead Nuclear Engineer at Duke Energy Corporation since February 2024, Damon previously held the position of Consulting Nuclear Engineer at Dominion Energy from June 1998 to January 2024. Prior to this role, Damon worked as a Senior Nuclear Engineer at South Carolina Electric & Gas from June 1998 to December 2018, specializing in reactor engineering and core design. Damon began a career in nuclear engineering at Duke Power Company, where responsibilities included nuclear modifications and reactor engineering from August 1992 to June 1998. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Mississippi State University, complemented by studies in Mechanical Engineering at Clemson University.
