Garrett Hutchings

Garrett Hutchings has a diverse work experience. Garrett started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where they conducted research on the exposure of nursing students to MRSA and the growth rates of Scyphosphaera apsteinii. Garrett then worked as a Sales Associate at Wild Birds Unlimited, Inc. In 2014, Garrett joined Duke Energy Corporation as an Environmental Technician, and subsequently moved up to the positions of Environmental Scientist, Environmental Scientist II, and Senior Environmental Scientist and QA Officer. In their roles at Duke Energy, they were responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, conducting audits, and managing laboratory certifications.

Garrett Hutchings completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at the University of North Carolina Wilmington from 2010 to 2014.
