Keva Hibbert

Keva Hibbert has a diverse work experience ranging from academia to government and corporate roles. In 2003, they began their career as a Senior Research Officer at the Ministry of Justice. Keva then moved to the Ministry of Energy and Mining, where they worked as an Energy Economist from 2005 to 2006. Following this, they entered the academic field, working as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Augustana College from 2011 to 2012 and at Western Illinois University from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they transitioned to the public sector as a Utility Analyst for the State of Iowa's Executive Branch. Keva later worked as a Financial Analyst at Principal Financial Group from 2017 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Keva served as a Quantitative Analytics Specialist at Wells Fargo. Currently, they hold positions at Duke Energy Corporation, where they started as a Senior Rates and Regulatory Strategy Analyst in 2021 and was later promoted to the role of Lead Rates and Regulatory Strategy Analyst in April 2023.

Keva Hibbert has a strong educational background in the field of economics. Keva obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Actuarial Science from the University of the West Indies, Mona, from 1998 to 2001. Keva then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from the same institution, from 2001 to 2003. To further enhance their expertise, Keva Hibbert later completed their PhD in Economics at Binghamton University from 2006 to 2011. These educational experiences have equipped their with a comprehensive understanding in the field of economics.
