Kevin Murray

VP - Project Management & Construction at Duke Energy

Kevin Murray has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Kevin began their career at Westinghouse in 1994, where they worked in engineering for three and a half years. In 1997, they joined El Paso Corporation as a project manager and engineer, where they stayed for seven years. In 2004, Murray joined Duke Energy Corporation as the General Manager of Major Projects until 2012. Kevin then served as the Director of Project Management Center of Excellence for two years before becoming the Vice President of CCP Project Management and Implementation. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Project Management and Construction at Duke Energy Corporation.

Kevin Murray earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, where they attended from 1989 to 1993. In addition to their degree, Kevin obtained a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in June 2014.
