Preston Pierce

Preston Pierce possesses extensive experience in the energy sector, having held various managerial and engineering roles at prominent companies. At Duke Energy Corporation, Preston served as General Manager and Maintenance Manager. Previously, Preston worked at Progress Energy as Manager of Outage & Projects Florida, Manager of Resource Planning Florida, and Bulk Power Systems Operations Manager. Additionally, Preston's early career included positions at Carolina Power & Light Company as System Operator and Engineer, along with experience as a Lab Instructor at North Carolina State University. Academically, Preston earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
