Scott Wilezol

Scott Wilezol has over 20 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management. Scott currently serves as the Director of IT Sourcing at Duke Energy Corporation. Prior to their current role, they worked as a Category Manager II and Category Manager at Duke Energy Corporation. Before joining Duke Energy, Scott was the Manager of New Product Development and a Lead Sourcing Specialist at the company. Scott also worked as a Sourcing Specialist for Emerging Technologies.

Before their tenure at Duke Energy, Scott worked as a Global Commodity Manager for Ingersoll Rand. Scott'sresponsibilities included managing global commodities and developing strategic sourcing initiatives.

Throughout their career, Scott has demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost savings initiatives. Scott holds certifications as a Certified Professional in Supplier Management (CPSM), Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD), and Certified Professional in Supply Management (C.P.M.).

Scott Wilezol, CPSM, CPSD, C.P.M. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management & International Business at Penn State University from 1996 to 2001. Scott then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, graduating between 2011 and 2013.
