Steven Mathews

Steven Mathews is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and applications analysis. Currently serving as the Lead IT Software Engineer at Duke Energy Corporation since January 2011, Steven oversees a team of nine engineers working on critical applications, including Storm Support Mobile Apps and internal safety and design tools. Prior to this role, Steven contributed to the development of an iOS product for materials management as a Senior IT Software Engineer and acted as a Technical Lead on energy delivery projects as a Senior IT Applications Analyst. Earlier experience includes positions as an IT Analyst and Associate IT Analyst at Progress Energy. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University, completed in 2007.
