Tom Rand

Vice President Product Engineering at Duke Manufacturing Co.

Tom Rand has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Tom started their career at GE as a Design Engineer in 1985 and worked there until 1987. Tom then moved to Thermo Electron Corporation where they worked as a Research Engineer for four years from 1987 to 1991. Tom then joined United Technologies as a Research Engineer from 1991 to 1992 before moving on to Rocky Research as a Senior Engineer from 1992 to 1995. Tom then joined Electrolux Group as a Systems Engineering Manager from 1995 to 2000. Following this, Tom worked at U-Line Corporation as an Engineering Manager from 2000 to 2008. Tom then moved on to Alto-Shaam, Inc. where they served as Vice-President of Engineering from 2008 to 2016. Currently, Tom holds the position of Vice President of Product Engineering at Duke Manufacturing Co, starting from 2016.

Tom Rand completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowdoin College in 1983. Tom then pursued further studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree in 1985 and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree in 1990.
