Michael Spiritos

Michael Spiritos has extensive experience in the medical field, with a focus on oncology. Michael started their career as an Intern in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in 1983. Michael then joined Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System as a Fellow in Hematology-Oncology from 1986 to 1990. In 2007, they joined Duke University School of Medicine as an Associate Professor. Simultaneously, they also held various roles at Duke Raleigh Hospital, including Chief Medical Officer, PDC Wake County Representative, and Medical Director of Medical Oncology from 2007 to 2013.

Michael Spiritos attended Harvard University from 1974 to 1978. Following this, they pursued their medical education at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University until 1983. The degree obtained and field of study for both institutions is not specified.
