Annie Kao

Annie Kao is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in higher education and finance. Currently serving as the Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education at Duke University since August 2008, Annie oversees key operations, finance, budgeting, HR, communications, and development for the Office of Undergraduate Education. Previous roles at Duke include Assistant Vice Provost for Finance and Operations and Director of Finance and Administration for Global and Civic Education, among others. Prior to Duke, Annie worked at McKinney as a Business Manager and Project Manager, handling financial oversight and project management for a prominent creative agency. Annie holds a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Duke University.
