Selena Castillo

Selena Castillo is a seasoned professional in sports marketing and branding, currently serving as the Head of External Affairs for Duke University’s Women’s Basketball program since October 2017. In this newly-created role, Selena oversees various aspects including branding, marketing, communications, and community outreach, leading a team of six. Previously, as Creative Director for Duke Women’s Basketball, Selena achieved record engagement and visibility across digital platforms. Prior experience includes a role as Graphic Designer at the Tampa Bay Sports Commission, focusing on enhancing sports tourism in the region, and as a Business Development professional at Gilbert Garcia Group P.A. Selena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies from Emory University and is currently pursuing an MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
