Applications Team Lead at Dukosi

Martin Twigg has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Martin is currently working at Dukosi as the Applications Team Lead since July 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Principal Applications Engineer at Dukosi starting from July 2021.

Before joining Dukosi, Martin worked at Dialog Semiconductor for a significant period of time, from January 2008 to July 2021. During their time at Dialog Semiconductor, they served as a Principal Applications Engineer and was responsible for automating evaluation suites, providing project evaluation and applications support in the audio technology group. Martin's role also involved PCB circuit design and layout review, customer design-in support, and assessment of new technologies in addition to working with SPI, I2C protocols, and digital audio interface formats.

Martin also gained experience at Wolfson Microelectronics, where they worked as a European Senior Field Applications Engineer from October 2006 to December 2007, and as a Senior Applications Engineer from September 2001 to October 2006. In these roles, they focused on supporting customers in implementing mixed-signal ADCs, DACs, codecs, and power management ICs into audio-enabled designs. Martin also developed relationships with customer engineering teams, provided product training, and specialized in portable codecs.

Furthermore, Martin had earlier experience at Nortel Networks as a Masters Project participant, where they designed a PIFO antenna array for an experimental 3G system. Martin also evaluated the performance of the design in an RF testing chamber on-site during their placement from May 2000 to December 2000.

Additionally, Martin served as an Infantry Platoon Commander in the Territorial Army Lowland Volunteers from November 1998 to September 2000.

Before that, they were the Deputy Team Leader at the Royal Air Force Mountain Rescue from July 1993 to March 1996, where they managed daily team coordination and administration for a team of full-time and volunteer personnel, and also assumed the team leader role for rescue operations.

Martin's early career included roles at the Royal Air Force, where they served as an Avionics Engineering Technician from March 1989 to June 1993. Martin specialized in the routine maintenance of air communications and radar systems on Nimrod maritime patrol aircraft. Martin also served in Oman during the first Gulf War. Martin started their career as an Apprentice Engineering Technician at the Royal Air Force from March 1986 to March 1989.

Overall, Martin Twigg has extensive experience in applications engineering, project evaluation and support, customer design-in support, and product training in the semiconductor and electronics industry. Martin has also served in leadership roles in the military, demonstrating their leadership and organizational skills.

Martin Twigg has an education history that includes two major institutions. From 1986 to 1989, they attended the No.2 School of Technical Training - RAF Cosford, where they pursued a degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering and obtained a HNC qualification. Later, from 1996 to 2001, they studied at The University of Edinburgh and graduated with an MEng degree in Electronics.
