Charul Sharma

Charul Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Charul is currently working as an International and M&A Tax Manager (Advisory Lead) at DuluxGroup since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at KPMG Australia as a Tax Manager from July 2022 to March 2023 and as an Assistant Tax Manager from October 2021 to July 2022. Before joining KPMG Australia, they served as a Senior Tax Advisor at KPMG from March 2020 to October 2021. Charul started their professional career as a Corporate Tax Analyst at Deloitte Australia in July 2019 and continued in the role until March 2020. Charul also worked as a Tax Graduate at Deloitte Australia from March 2018 to June 2019. In addition to their corporate experience, they have also held roles as a Peer-to-Peer Leader at Monash University from February 2015 to December 2017, a Clinical Intern at Monash Oakleigh Legal Service from March 2016 to July 2016, and a Tutor at Five Tuition from April 2013 to January 2016.

Charul Sharma's education history begins in 2013 when they enrolled at Monash University. They pursued a double degree, earning a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws. Their major in accounting demonstrated a focus on that field. After completing their undergraduate studies, Charul attended the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand from 2018 to 2020, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting.

In 2019, Charul also pursued a Graduate Diploma in Tax at the University of Melbourne. After gaining further expertise in tax, they moved on to The College of Law Australia in 2021, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in the field of law.

Additionally, Charul obtained two additional certifications. In March 2021, they became a Chartered Accountant through the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In the same year, they also acquired the title of Australian Lawyer through the Supreme Court of Victoria, completing this accomplishment in December 2021.
