Dan Olley

Dan Olley was appointed Chief Executive Officer at dunnhumby in January 2022. Dan has spent his 30-year career leading global digital organisations, with a proven track record leading transformative digital product teams across a range of industries including healthcare, financial services, digital media, digital marketing and life sciences.

Most recently Dan served as Global EVP and CTO of Elsevier, the science, technology and healthcare division of RELX. During his tenure at RELX, he oversaw the digital transformation of numerous business areas, helping RELX become the multi-billion dollar information and analytics provider it is today. Prior to joining RELX’s Reed Business Information division in 2004, Dan held numerous other leadership roles at IBM, WPP, and GMAC.

Currently, Dan serves on the PLC board of Hargreaves Lansdown and the industrial advisory board of Imperial College London. Dan was voted one of TechRepublic’s ‘Top 50 Tech Leaders” and was inducted into the CIO hall of fame in 2017.
