Soo-Jin Hwang

Soo-Jin Hwang is a skilled professional with experience in both architecture and translation. Currently serving as a Freelance Translator and Checker at Mother Tongue since October 2020, Soo-Jin translates and localizes popular Korean webcomics and copy edits translations for improved clarity and cultural relevance. Prior to this, Soo-Jin worked as an Architect at Delvendahl Martin Architects, leading the design of a large-scale mixed-use housing project in London, and at Kirkwood McLean Architects, focusing on the construction of private residential dwellings. Earlier career roles include Part II Architectural Assistant positions at Roland Cowan Architects and Waugh Thistleton Architects, contributing to various residential and commercial projects. Soo-Jin holds a Full Stack Web Development certification from Le Wagon and advanced degrees in Architecture from the University of Bath and the University of Westminster.
