Kristiina Nurmenniemi has a diverse work experience in service design and project management. Kristiina has worked at various companies and organizations, including Dunning, Kruger & Associates, the Finnish Immigration Service, COR Group Oy, Palvelumuotoilu Palo Oy, Micropolis - Greener for Growth, Tekes, and H&M.
Kristiina has held roles such as Service Designer, Project Manager, and Sales Advisor. Kristiina has experience in conducting qualitative research, analyzing and synthesizing data, communicating insights and recommendations, co-creating service solutions, and supporting the development of design processes and practices. Kristiina has also been involved in project planning, development, and innovation in different sectors, including health, sustainable growth, and carbon-neutral society.
Kristiina Nurmenniemi completed their Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Oulu Business School, University of Oulu, between 2008 and 2013. In 2016, they pursued Design Management and Service Design at the University of Lapland, although the degree obtained is unspecified. In 2017, they attended Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design to study People-Centred Research Methods. Continuing their education, in 2019, they completed a supplementary training program in Digital Sales and Marketing from Oulu University of Applied Sciences. Finally, from 2020 to 2021, they undertook Basic Studies in Psychology, earning 25 ECTS, at the University of Eastern Finland. Additionally, in December 2019, Kristiina obtained a certification in "The Perfect Map | Customer Journey and Service Blueprint Mapping" from the Service Design Show institution.
