Angela Huang

Angela Huang has a diverse work experience in the field of design. Angela is currently working at Duolingo as a Product Designer II, a position they started in September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Product Designer at Duolingo from July 2020 to August 2021.

Angela also gained experience at Berkeley Innovation, where they held various positions. Angela worked as an Advisor from January 2020 to May 2020, and as the President of the organization from June 2019 to December 2019. Angela also worked as a Project Manager from January 2019 to May 2019, and as the Internal Vice President from January 2018 to December 2018. In addition, they served as a Design Consultant from August 2016 to December 2017.

Furthermore, Angela worked as a KP Design Fellow at Kleiner Perkins from May 2019 to August 2019. Angela was also a Product Design Intern at Uber during the same time period. Angela gained web design experience at Innovative Design, where they were a part of the Web Design Team from January 2019 to May 2019.

Angela's experience also extends to teaching, as they worked as an Instructor for the Human Centered Design Decal (DES INV 98) at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2018 to May 2019. Angela was involved in research and design as a Designer and Researcher at theDesignExchange, collaborating with the UC Berkeley BEST Lab and M.I.T. from January 2018 to May 2019.

Additionally, Angela has interned at Replate as a Graphic Design Intern from January 2019 to April 2019, and at eBay as a Product Design Intern from May 2018 to August 2018. At the beginning of 2018, they also worked as a Graphic Designer at Innovative Design.

Angela Huang has a well-rounded background in design, having worked in various roles and industries, from product design to graphic design.

Angela Huang attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cognitive Science. In addition to their major, they also pursued a minor in Data Science and earned a Certificate in Design Innovation.
